Dear WFF Members,
We are excited about the many opportunities you will experience to grow your career at the upcoming WFF Leadership Conference in Dallas. This message confirms that Conference will be held as planned March 29-April 1. We will keep you updated about any developments related to COVID-19 (novel coronavirus).
As committed as we are to help you advance in your career, our primary concern is your health and safety. We are closely monitoring any new developments from the CDC and World Health Organization (WHO) and adhering to their expert advice on how best to carry out our daily activities. Both organizations have made it clear that the health risk to the general public remains low. There are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Dallas County.
Still, we take our role in safeguarding the health and safety of all participants very seriously, as do our venue partners the Omni Dallas Hotel, the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, VisitDallas and other partner hotels. The venues continue to follow strict health, safety and sanitization measures. The Omni Dallas Hotel and Convention Center has placed additional hand sanitizer stations throughout the facility and expanded its cleaning processes even further.
The CDC reminds all of us that the best way to stop the spread of COVID-19, and all respiratory diseases like it, is to practice thorough hand washing; avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth; cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue; avoid close contact with those who are sick and to stay home if you are ill.
We look forward to seeing you and your colleagues at the end of the month and to offering you unmatched leadership development within a community of supportive colleagues.
